Ice
I started skating when I was 4 and was a competitive figure skater for many of my youngest years. During my competitive years, I completed all 4 Skate Canada gold tests becoming a Quadruple Gold Awards Achiever. In the competitive stream, I competed up to the Junior level as a singles skater. I also competed internationally with a synchro team for 6 years. I moved into performing professionally and in doing so, realized what my most favourite thing to do was. Perform!
Air
For over 10 years now, I’ve performed with multiple companies including Holiday on ice, two international ‘Skating with the Stars’ television programs and many shorter contracts allowing me to travel the world extensively as a figure skater. While touring with Holiday on ice, I was trained to be the aerialist understudy. My love for the aerial arts began and 5 years ago I decided to intensify my training in the circus arts and become a professional circus artist as well!
Love
In the last year, I secured a position with Willy Bietak as a Specialty Act in their ice show onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Allure of the Seas. I performed my figure skating aerial hoop act almost daily! Being able to perform as a figure skater, circus artist and a figure skating aerialist has been nothing but a dream come true for me! I strive to continue learning new apparatuses and pushing my own boundaries in the performing arts. I feel most alive, when I’m performing!
